Home Planning Seminars

Hilltop offers home planning seminars several times each year. These complementary educational offerings are designed for the home buyer in the initial stages of the process. The beginning or information gathering phase of your project can be overwhelming. The Hilltop Home Planning Seminar guides you through a wide variety of design choices and explains the differences in available construction methods. A large pool of photos, renderings and materials are at your disposal to help you make the best informed decisions for your unique needs. Personal Client Advisors are present to answer your questions and see clients after the seminar, by appointment, if requested.

The presentation also includes a question and answer forum and explanation of available turnkey services such as locating lenders, builders, realtors and home product specialists. The seminar concludes with a tour of Hilltop Log & Timber Homes 3 Model Home Complex and Production Facility where some of the construction techniques are demonstrated. Registered Seminar attendees can choose to attend just the presentation or continue on with the tour. Registration is required and seating is limited to ensure individual attention. Builders Seminars

Hilltop’s Builder Seminars begin in the Fall and continue through the Spring. Builders Seminars are not typically offered during the busy late Spring to late Summer building season. Hilltop’s complementary Builders Seminars are recommended for builders who have never built for Hilltop or who have not constructed a Hilltop home in the past year.

The seminar includes an educational presentation on partnerships, technical assistance, packaging and deliveries, work samples, construction techniques and energy efficient products. Examples of Hilltop’s residential and commercial properties are shown both finished and under construction to illustrate varied construction methods. Specific construction techniques covered in post & beam, log, and hybrids include joinery, sealing, SIPs and roof systems. After the presentation and question and answer period, builders are invited to network over a complementary lunch. The seminar concludes with a tour of Hilltop Log & Timber Homes 3 Model Home Complex and Production Facility where construction methods are demonstrated. Optional tours of job construction sites are also available on occasion.
